Sudbury is well know for the Wayside Inn which may well be the country’s oldest operating inn dating back to 1716. The inn was build and run by the the Howe family until Henry Ford bought it in the min 1920s. Following his purchase of the inn, it was restored and donated to a charitable foundation which continues to operate the inn today.
